It's Christmas Time

Where does the time go? It's already Christmas time. The kids are growing so fast. It's amazing to watch them grow. Everyday is something new. Elizabeth is in Kindergarten and is trying her best to read and write. She is sounding out words and trying to write them. One of her favorite games in the car is "I Spy something that begins with..." and she is really good. She is loving school and has so many friends. She's not shy by any means. She tries to be at times, but she comes out in full force.

Grant is so intelligent. You would be amazed what can come out of his mouth. Some we don't want to hear as he's nearing those pre-teen years, but at other times he just amazes me. He is always looking into how things work and trying to figure out if what you are saying is correct or not and he's not afraid to tell you if you are wrong. He will argue with you till he is blue in the face :-)

The kids picked out the Christmas tree they wanted and it is huge. Elizabeth said we could just cut a hole in the ceiling if it didn't fit. Bless her heart, the innocence of a child. Both kids are getting ready to start basketball practice this week with the Upward program at church. I love watching them do sports because they both play with their hearts. The love to win, but they have gentle hearts and feel for everyone.

It's a busytime of year. Many activities going on, wondering if we can fit one more thing in without going overload. We love looking at all of the Christmas lights while out driving around at night. It just seems to make the time more magical.

Well, off to wrap some presents. Hope everyone has a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. Remember the Reason for the Season.

Cheryl
